Chris Brown and Rihanna are in the public eye for all the wrong reasons. Their infamous pre-Grammy fallout has seen Rihanna portrayed as the victim and Chris Brown vilified.
The issue of violence against women is once again in sharp focus. So called experts are offering their views. Thankfully, I'm not an expert and with the absence of any evidence as yet, I cannot form an opinion. I await the court proceedings where Chris Brown will attempt to defend himself.
Some people are predicting the demise of the RnB star. Apparently, he's searching for public relations experts to commence the fight back, undoubtedly to capture the hearts and minds of the female fans who he seriously risks losing. By some accounts, Rihanna was not impressed by the statement he put out express regret. Unquestionably, that statement must have been influenced by the pending court case and as such meant he couldn't express liability even if he wanted to. Shouldn't he be focusing on his pending case and resolving whatever differences he may have with Rihanna at the moment?
Meanwhile, 50 Cent continues to humiliate Rick Ross, aka the Boss for daring to dis-respect him in a song. He's gone as far as obtaining the Boss' financial records to prove he's not authentic, i.e. he's broke and doesn't have the money he seems to profess; and taking the mother of his child, Tia shopping for fur coats and what have you. In his latest cartoon, which can be viewed on his www.thisis50.com site, he has the alleged former Correctional Officer (I must cover my tracks there), Rick Ross chasing Chris Brown, arresting him and throwing him in jail for beating up Rihanna. A bit tasteless but funny though. It begs the question though. Shouldn't Mr Curtis Jackson be focusing on releasing his easily awaited album, Before I Self Destruct? He's pushed it back twice now and is in danger of becoming Dr Dre's Detox, which has taken forever to release. He must be bored with all that money.
